Motorola V60i Cell Phone Overview
The V60 is one of Motorola’s most popular cellular phone models and the V60i builds on the reputation of its predecessor by adding some exciting new capabilities to the already solid phone features. The V60i’s worldwide roaming abilities offer an added perk to world travelers. High-speed GPRS data transfer makes it quick to send, receive, and store SMS text messages and EMS multimedia messages; engage in instant Peer to Peer chat; download ringtones, sounds, and animations; and access information via the built-in microbrowser. A simplified user interface makes navigating and customizing the menu faster and much more intuitive. Other updates include five new embedded games-- Paddle Ball, Mind Blaster, Black Jack, Video Poker, and Falling Numbers—and custom covers that snap on to change the look of the phone.
The V60i has a huge phone/datebook that holds up to 1,000 contacts and an organizer with a calendar, scheduler, and event reminder. Voice recognition software allows users to set up voice-activated calling and menu commands to reach a contact or activate a feature more quickly. A smart button provides fast access to main menus and lets users scroll and initiate calls with additional speed. Other notable phone features include caller ID, call waiting/hold, a voice recorder, 42 pre-loaded iMeloday ring tones, an FM stereo radio, a voice mail access key, vibrating alert, and a headset jack. Using a high-performance battery the Motorola V60i yields up to 210 to 360 minutes of talk time and up to 120 to 200 hours of standby time.
