Used simply as a phone, the 426 sports the popular clamshell fold-open design and vibrating alert. Its organizer features include a phone book, calendar, calculator/currency converter, an alarm that works even when the phone is off, and a to-do list, as well as sync-up capability with your PC. Going online with the built-in browser, Samsung 426-users will enjoy text and image messaging with T9 predictive text entry. Users can also download ring tones, wallpaper, graphics, and Java-based applications to customize their phone.
